To travel, is to live.

Steller – Professional Data Recovery Services

Being a wanderlust and an avid traveler, my heart palpitates the most when I’m on the road. Stumbling across a path less traveled by and stepping foot in uncharted territories fills my heart with certain emotions.

Emotions that mirror thunder and can’t be put to words. Thus, to be able to reminisce about the joyous memories in my later years, I often try to capture such moments in my camera lens as memoirs.

My zeal to traverse the globe compelled me to visit 5 countries on 3 different continents; namely Dubai, Paris, London, Kiev, and Hong Kong. Having traveled so much and taken over a billion photos, I realized the immense bond I developed with my camera. Each photo came out of sheer passion, patience and nurturing.

If you too have a passion for photography, you’ll know how difficult it is to take that perfect shot.

Be it a family portrait or a random snap I took while traveling, all my photographs meant the world to me. Even the thought of losing a single picture scares me out of my wit. Having said that, there was a time when I did actually lose all my data. To this day, mere reminiscence of the time gives me Goosebumps.

I went backpacking in the north-east once. It was a 7-day trip and I had the time of my life. I went all alone but came back with a multitude of memories, all captured in my DSLR. I preferred to visit places that were oblivious to the average tourist. Thus, I befriended a few locals who took me to places that no one knew off. The views, I tell you, were awe-inspiring. Of course, I being the picture fanatic that I am, clicked as many pictures as possible.

On my way back home, my phone displayed a message showing that my phone’s memory was low. Annoyed by the message, I decided to put my DSLR’s memory card in my phone. I took out the microSD card from the adapter and put it on my phone.

The message disappeared, and I continued my journey of coming back home. I woke up the next day to shut off the alarm and was greeted by the same message again – “Memory full. Make some space by deleting unused files and folders”.

As I was half-asleep, I ended up touching the tab that said, “make more space”. The message disappeared and I went back to sleep again.

When I was about to enter my REM cycle, it suddenly hit me – I might have just made more space by deleting the gallery or something of that sort.

I jumped out of my bed and checked my phone. Almost half my gallery was gone. I had lost over 1000 pictures. I was in utter disbelief. I had no idea what do. I had deleted my own hard work in just a few seconds. I did all I could to try and get back the data but couldn’t. I even tried downloading data recovery apps but none of them recover my photo.

I was completely heartbroken. I just accepted it and decided to move on. The same day, I got a call from a friend asking me about my trip to the north-east and to preferably send him some pictures. And of course, like a cry-baby, I narrated him the whole incident of how I lost over 1000 pictures in the blink of an eye.

After I was done narrating him everything, he laughed and said, “So, when are you going to send me the pictures?”.

I got really pissed. I mean, here I was telling him about how I lost all my pictures and he was mocking me by asking me such a ridiculous question.

He laughed again, asked me to calm down and then said something that just completely lifted my mood.

He told me about Steller Data Recovery.

He told me that he too, had a similar experience once and that Steller came to his rescue.

However, I know that I’ll never be bothered about losing my data again because I know I can depend on Steller to recover it for me.
